How to Decide on Your Chiropractor in Colorado Springs CO
Picking your chiropractor in Colorado Springs CO is just as important as picking your mechanic, or your favorite restaurant, or your personal injury lawyer. It's a big deal. And this page is meant to help you in that process.
Let's start by telling you what we are not. This will help you decide on whether we may be a good fit for you, and it will leave you with some questions that you can ask when you are interviewing any other chiropractor in Colorado Springs CO.
- If you are looking for an impersonal, in-and-out feel, then you will probably get frustrated with us. Some people live their lives in a hurry and want their chiropractic or health care experience to be like ordering a Chipotle burrito. If you are one of those people, then there are many offices that can service you.
This type of chiropractic office can get you in-and-out because they provide a very specific service (i.e. a 3-point spinal adjustment), and they are not interested in your health care if it exists outside of that very specific service. You may have been to a spine center in Colorado Springs that operates this way. They are great places, if that is what you are looking for. They are similar to Massage Envy. They often don't adjust extremities (arm, shoulders, ankles, etc.), take X-rays, provide rehabilitation exercises or deal in diet, weight loss or sickness. These chiropractic clinics move a lot of people in and out. We know several of these offices, and we are happy to refer you to them.
- If you are looking for a male chiropractor in Colorado Springs, then we may be short handed. At the moment, Dr. Molly Kallenbach is our only chiropractor on staff, and she is of course a female chiropractor. However, we are interviewing two male chiropractors. Female chiropractors tend to have a more gentle, finesse, and intuitive approach because what they lack in brute strength, they must make up for in finesse. Some patients prefer a large male chiropractor and the feeling of a wrestling match when getting adjusted. That's not what we do.
- If you are looking for a 12-month chiropractic care plan, then we may not be a good fit for you. It is our belief that you cannot project accurate results over a 12 month period. It is just to long, in our opinion. We want to provide a service that our patients want, and we do not hard close our patients. It is our opinion that the doctor-patient relationship is one of respect and that the patient is ultimately in control of their health. When corrective care is necessary and one adjustment just won't do the trick, then we may recommend a plan of 3-6 months, but never 12 months, and we find ways to help you use your insurance to offset costs.
Now, here is a bit about what we are about:
Our Colorado Springs chiropractor Colorado Springs chiropractor, Dr. Molly Kallenbach, is passionate about relieving your back pain, neck pain and other ailments by the most natural means possible. Whiplash from car accidents, chronic headache and other problems are seldom best treated by drugs and surgery. Chiropractic adjustments, along with a care plan involving physical therapy, massage therapy and other treatments has proven to have more lasting results than symptomatic treatment.
It is Dr. Molly's goal to work you out of our chiropractic office, because you are so healthy and so knowledgeable about how to maintain your health that you no longer need to come into our chiropractic office in Colorado Springs.
We are not a straight cash chiropractic clinic. We accept credit cards, care credit, MedPay (for post car accident victims) and insurance. Multidisciplinary Care With Our Colorado Springs Chiropractor
Over the years, chiropractic medicine has expanded not only in new tools and techniques for the chiropractor, but it has also integrated other medical disciplines. Physical therapy and massage therapy in particular have brought massive improvements to the already effective spinal adjustments. Proper nutrition and health oriented lifestyle choices have made chiropractic treatment even more effective.
In our office, we've also implemented functional blood chemistry, which works to identify disease in the body, cleanse and detoxify the body, and rebalance blood chemistry. We diagnosis using various blood, saliva, and hormone testing.
At our Colorado Springs clinic, we focus on the most natural and non-invasive chiropractic care plans. Our corrective adjustment techniques are the most precise and gentle in the industry. These natural and non-surgical qualities of our chiropractic philosophy are especially great for our expectant mothers.
We also use the latest and greatest techniques in physical therapy, nutrition advice and massage therapy to build on our chiropractic practice. These disciplines greatly speed your recovery and make it more permanent by relaxing your muscles, improving circulation, and retraining your muscles to permanently improve your posture.
Back pain and neck pain are more often than not due to natural sources. We believe that whenever possible, natural treatments are the best approach to address these issues. Nerve impingement, for instance, will not go away with painkillers, but it can be effectively eliminated from your life with a proper, customized course of spinal adjustment, physical therapy and massage therapy.
