Colorado Springs Chiropractor Dr. Molly Kallenbach is the mother of three, two of which were home births with a midwife. All three were intended to born at home, but the first one (shown in the picture above) was born at the hospital. These experiences mixed with her training and passion for structural work as well as nutrition qualifies Dr. Molly as uniquely able to care for pregnant mommies.

There are several chiropractors that advertise chiropractic care for pregnant women, but Dr. Molly intimately knows the unique pains of pregnancy, how to alleviate them, and the ways to ease the physical stress the body endures through pregnancy. There are specific nutrients the body requires during this time as well as specific movements that can prepare the body for labor. After three times of experiencing this herself and working intimately with Colorado Springs midwives, Dr. Molly is both passionate about the process and very knowledge about how to have the healthiest pregnancy possible.

"I have been seeing Dr. Molly for about four years for several injuries and for prenatal and postnatal care. She was a tremendous help before, during, and after both my pregnancies. During both pregnancies, her work made it possible to function with less of the aches and pains that accompany pregnancy. In addition, adjustments to the pelvis resulted in easier and quicker births.

After giving birth to my second child, I was diagnosed with a herniated disc in the lumbar spine. My entire lumbar and pelvic regions go into spasm resulting in excruciating pain, a twisted pelvis, numbness in the legs, and the inability to move without bringing me to tears.
After receiving only three treatments, Dr. Molly had me functioning again, relieving my pain, and improving my overall posture. I would highly recommend Dr. Molly for your prenatal and postpartum care as well as injury care."

Dr. Molly's Home Birth Story

Dr. Molly intended to have all of her babies naturally and at-home with a midwife; however when her first baby was two weeks late, her midwife suggested she get some blood work done at Memorial Hospital. The hospital viewed her situation as an emergency and induced labor. Despite being induced, Dr. Molly still gave birth naturally, and her experience gave her a guide post to compare hospital births with home births.

Dr. Molly went on to have her next two birth at home with a midwife, and one was a water birth.

Now, after three babies, Dr. Molly weighs less than she did in the 7th grade and is healthier than ever. Her last baby was her healthiest pregnancy, delivery, and baby. This was no coincidence. This was the result of knowledge gained along the way, and it is that knowledge that she would love to pass on to other mothers and expectant mommies.

"What is the best thing you can do for your child? Take them to see Dr. Molly! The moment your child is born make an appointment for the baby. I'm the mother of two little girls (3 years and 9 months) and I've been taking them to see Dr. Molly for 8 months now. My 3 year old absolutely adores Dr. Molly to the point of pretending to be her at home, and asking me at least once a week when we're seeing Dr. Molly next.

I had my 3 year old adjusted for the first time today because she's had a stuffy nose for a few weeks, and my little girl did wonderfully! She'd seen me get adjusted and she'd been adjusted as a baby so she just got right up on the table and laid there without wiggling or complaining. Even when Dr. Molly adjusted her neck, she just relaxed, and now a few hours later her sinuses are draining. She's not scared of going to see Dr. Molly because she knows she's going to feel better, and I don't have to give her medication, or worry about side effects because the only side effect is she feels better!

I also take my 9 month old daughter at least once a month because babies go through drastic changes in growth and development from month to month. I especially take her when I notice her being more fussy than normal, and she's not sleeping well. Dr. Molly adjusts my baby and she's like a dream baby! She sleeps better at night only to wake up 1-2x's a night to eat then falls right back to sleep. She is happier and less fussy too.

I've taken her to see Dr. Molly for the overlapping of her head [cranial plates] as well. As babies grow, sometimes the bones in the head can't move apart fast enough as the brain is growing so babies get a "bulge" on the top of their head called overlapping, and they start fussing because I'm sure that causes a head ache. Dr. Molly very gently fixes her and although she cries during her adjustment she falls asleep the second I put her in the car to go home, and she's in a good mood the rest of the day. Anytime I'm concerned about my baby Dr. Molly's office is the first place I head to. And what's wonderful about going to Dr. Molly's for my children is that I feel like I'm going to see my best friend for a bit of advice or something. Dr. Molly is patient and loving toward my children and I trust her with them and all their health needs. If you have kids no matter what their age is, take them to see Dr. Molly once a month or so. You'll be so glad you did because when your kids will be healthier and happier."
