While studying nutrition and pre-med at California State University in San Bernadino and working as a personal trainer, Colorado Springs Chiropractor Dr. Molly Kallenbach, considered going to medical school. But, that was before the accident...
At age 19, she was hit by a car and taken to the Emergency Room. She left with a prescription for pain medication and a slap on the back, and no follow-up appointment. The X-ray showed no broken bones, so in the ER docs' minds, she was "fine."
Soon, the headaches began to pound, her shoulders tightened up, the neck pain raged, shortness of breath set-in, and Molly became an overall irritable person. Surprisingly (to her), it was a chiropractor that helped heal her spine and get pain relief. And even more surprisingly, it was also a chiropractor who helped her lose 15 lbs, change her diet, and re-educate her mind to true health care, rather than sick care.
Dr. Kallenbach graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward California in 2004. She then completed a post-graduate residency in Elko, Nevada under the nation's leading researcher in spinal biomechanics, and structural rehabilitation. While at Life-West she attained over 200 hours of postgraduate education and training in Clinical Biomechanics of Posture, and is the one of only five females certified in Clinical Biomechanics of Posture and Chiropractic Biophysics in the state of Colorado.
One of Dr. Kallenbach's most prized accomplishments is that she is a mother of 3 great kids - all born naturally, two at home with midwives.
Molly loves sunsets, 30 Rock, The Office, live concerts, orange and/or peppermint dark chocolate, Pearl Jasmine tea, her office manager/husband, her three crazy kids, funny movies...and chiropractic.
